Nanotechnology will play a crucial part when it comes to meeting the demands of the new environmental and energy technologies. New technologies within these areas are necessary, if we are to continue and hopefully improve the living standard all over the world in an environmentally safe manner. At the same time this is an area in which the Danish industry, research and development have a leading position internationally.
