NaNet was established in 2005 and is financed by The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
We are a member based network with the goal of making nanotechnology visible and to build a bridge between the Danish industry and research institutions within the area.
NaNet wishes to contribute to develop Denmark in a high technology direction. Nanotechnology has the potential to revolutionize all industrial branches and is seen as a cornerstone in technological development and competitive capability. This perspective has led to an explosive growth in nanotechnology research and applications that will bring us new products and services with absolutely new features.
NaNet’s vision is to
- advertise and boost the utilisation of nanotechnology in Denmark
- be the link for all nano-activities between institutions and industry in Denmark

- create platforms for the exchange of information on nanotechnology in Denmark
- communicate between private and public sector
